Hello! I am John Jerome "Wishdream" Romero.

I am a freelance character designer, game developer and webcomic artist from the Philippines. I create engaging designs and thematic sets for several mediums, and my work focuses on anthropomorphic characters for video games and stories but if required will be able to do humans and other creatures as well.

    Responsible of the animation and moveset designs of several characters, notably Gilda and Octavia before the rest of the team moved into Them's Fighting Herds.

    Responsible for the 3D assets of Lampchasers, complete from plants, characters, and environment.

    October 2010 - June 2015

    Teacher of how the engine works in general, teaching how to import assets and the restrictions of the Game Maker engine. This was the era where in Game Maker 8 and the transition to Game Maker: Studio was being done.
